We are a cake boutique located in downtown Killeen, Texas, creating delicous, edible works of
art. We use the finest ingredients and classic French techniques to ensure that every cake we

OUR ARTISTS
Chef Vavette Blevins studied Patisserie and Baking at the Texas
Culinary Academy / Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, Texas. Soon after
pastry school she opened "Works of Art Cakes" and has become
Killeen's premier cake artist. While studying in Austin, she was able
to learn the fine art of custom cake design from Food Network's
Bronwen Weber.
Her cakes have been featured on Brides.com and Food Network, as
well as local television stations. She competes yearly in the National
Wedding Cake Competition held in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Sarah is our newest cake artist. She brings over 5 years of retail
bakery and cake experience to Works of Art Cakes. She is a part of
the creative team that makes each of our cakes a true "work of art".

Chef Nancy Evans has over 13 years of retail bakery experience and
is not only Chef V's mother but her business partner as well. She has
helped develop the formulas for some of our tastiest cake creations
and is developing her skills in the cake artistry arena.
